Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Services Representative to
handle incoming referrals for durable medical equipment and provide
customer service support.
Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming and outgoing calls for new orders and service
requests, providing assistance until all needs are met
Obtain and enter accurate intake information to initiate the
referral process and determine appropriate service criteria
Complete insurance verification and follow up with necessary
communication with payers and providers
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with commonly used office software products and the
ability to learn new software applications
Previous experience in customer service or familiarity with home
medical equipment is preferred
Additional related education and/or experience preferred
