Job Summary: Peckhams paid Internship Program is designed to add practical, relevant experience to your field of study while welcoming you into our family by choice. As a Sales Intern, you will assist and support our Sales Team with essential projects, while gaining invaluable experience for your future career. Key projects and tasks include but are not limited to: conducting market research and analysis (including segment studies), entering data into PriceB software (pricing analytics and quoting, competitor information), engaging with customers through outreach and surveys, and gaining exposure to business operations and production processes to better understand our organizations core functions.
Majors applicable to this internship opportunities include Construction Management, Business Management, Development, Communications, Project Management, disciplines as well as other relevant majors.

Requirements, Education and Experience:Excellent Attendance and Punctuality. The program is scheduled to run ten weeks, Monday, June 2, 2025, through Friday, August 8, 2025, but can be flexible to the students need. We may customize the dates according to your and/or your schools schedule. You will be responsible for tracking your time using an automated company timecard.1.You are responsible for your own housing and reliable transportation.2.Strict adherence to all safety protocol, OSHA safety rules and regulations procedures3.Current enrollment at an accredited college or university with a 3.0 or higher GPA4.Successful submission of our online application by Monday, May 5, 2025, and:a cover letter or paragraph stating your major and what intrigues you about it. a resume including your LinkedIn profile, if you have one.one written recommendation (e-mail ok) from a current or previous employer, teacher, or professor5.Proficient written and verbal English communication skills6.Legal right to work in the U. Travel:Position will require approximately 20% travel by personal vehicle to offices throughout the region including Bedford, Wingdale and Carmel, NY.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:Work environment is dependent upon internship placement and may operate in a professional office or physical work environment. The professional work environment is mostly sedentary, outside of travel. Some internships may involve heavy work that includes heavy lifting, working near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment, the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.
