A company is looking for a Lead Database Administrator (DBA).



Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems across various technologies, ensuring optimal performance and security
Develop and implement task automation strategies using CI/CD pipelines to streamline routine DBA tasks and improve operational efficiency
Manage and mentor a small team of DBAs, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting best practices in database management


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
10+ years of hands-on experience with multiple database technologies, including Sybase IQ/ASE, Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server
5+ years of experience managing a team of DBAs, with proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
3+ years of experience in developing task automation using CI/CD tools and pipelines for routine DBA tasks
2+ years of hands-on experience with agile methodologies, including proficiency in using Jira for project management
