Job Description:
A company is looking for a Governmental Accounting/Auditing
Manager to lead projects and provide consulting services in
governmental accounting and auditing.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as project manager, leading teams to successful project
conclusions
Consult with clients to provide recommendations for business and
process improvements
Conduct audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing
Standards and manage firm risk on audits
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
At least 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on
auditing local governments
Proven supervisory and training success
Knowledge of quality assurance/control procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint
